Dr. Noll Campbell’s research is focused on the measurement and management of adverse cognitive effects of medications in older adults with acute and chronic cognitive impairment. This work includes the use of behavioral economic principals to evaluate the impact of deprescribing interventions on clinical and operational outcomes in various care environments.

Dr. Campbell maintains an active clinical practice as a geriatric pharmacotherapy expert within Eskenazi Health in Indianapolis, supporting the translation and implementation of his research into clinical
care. He was awarded a New Investigator Award from the American Geriatrics Society in 2012, a five-year K23 career development award from the National Institute on Aging in 2014, and another 5-year R01 from the
National Institute on Aging in 2019 to support his research.
